Whether you are considering wearing contact lenses for the first time, or if you are looking to improve your current lenses, we specialize in maximizing your comfort and vision. We prescribe contacts for patients with astigmatism, bifocals, and dry eye .

At Norwich Ophthalmology we offer affordable contact lens fittings without any add-on training fees. After a comprehensive exam has been performed, your doctor will try a pair of contacts on you and adjust the fit and power as needed.

If you are a first time contact lens wearer, we will teach you how to insert, remove, and care for your lenses.  We will provide you with a contact lens case and cleaning solution.

We offer daily, toric (astigmatism-correcting), and multifocal lenses from all of the highest quality manufacturers, such as Johnson & Johnson's Acuvue, Alcon's Air Optix and Focus Dailies, Bausch + Lomb's Biotrue, Pure Vision and Soflens, and Cooper Vision's Biofinity and Proclear.

Norwich Ophthalmology recommends that all patients have at least one pair of eyeglasses in case they are not able to wear their contacts for any reason.
